Your adventure begins with a warm welcome at Kilimanjaro International Airport, followed by a comfortable night at Under the Shade Safari Lodge near Arusha. From there, the safari begins in earnest with a visit to Tarangire National Park, famed for its ancient baobab trees and vast elephant herds.

The journey continues through the legendary Serengeti National Park, where you’ll spend three full days exploring the savanna plains, tracking big cats, and possibly witnessing the Great Migration. Your wildlife expedition then takes you to the awe-inspiring Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site teeming with wildlife and breathtaking scenery.

After your thrilling safari, fly directly to the exotic island of Zanzibar. Spend your days unwinding on white sand beaches in Nungwi and Bwejuu, or choose from optional excursions including snorkeling at Mnemba Island, a Stone Town tour, spice farm visits, dolphin encounters, or exploring the lush Jozani Forest.

Itinerary Details

DAY 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, Tanzania

Upon arrival in Kilimanjaro, you will be met by your guide and transferred to your lodge, located along Arusha Airport Road with just 2km away from Arusha Airport lodge. Transit time from JRO to the lodge is approximately 1hrs 30 minutes’ drive covering a Distance of 65.4 KM/ 40.6 Miles UNDER THE SHADE SAFARI LODGE. BB

DAY 2: Tarangire National Park

In morning, begin your beautiful adventure after a breakfast. You will start your safari with your Guide at 8 O’clock sharp (08:00am) and start your safari to Tarangire national park with your packed lunch box with approximately 2 hours Transit time Covering a distance of 104.3 KM/ 64.8 Miles. Enjoy your beautiful game drive at Tarangire national park (Home of the Giants) with Immense Diversity of Species from Seasonal Migration Birds and Endemic Bird species, Carnivals, Ungulates to the Giants themselves (Elephants- Loxodonta Africana and Baobab Tree- Adansonia Digitata). While doing your beautiful game drive you will have your Stop at Tarangire picnic sites; have your packed lunch and proceed with your game drive. DAY 3: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK (Central/east)

In the Morning you will have your breakfast and You will Start your Safari at 8 o’clock Sharp with your packed lunch box to Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro Conservation area. The Transit time has an approximation of 4 hours Covering a Distance of 188 KM/ 117Miles. Enjoy your beautiful Game Drive in Serengeti National Park, Home of the Great Wildebeest Migration. The Serengeti National Park is known to be the home of Immense Diversity of Species that Includes different Carnivals, herbivores, Birds, Plants species and etc. The Endless plains of Serengeti national Park Together with the Moru Kopjes Provide endless chances for Birth and Survival for both the Carnivals and Herbivores. DAY 4: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK (central/ east)

In the Morning you will have your breakfast and You will Start your Safari at 7 o’clock Sharp with your packed lunch box. Enjoy your beautiful game Drive in the Savanna woodland. An Early Morning Game Drive Increases the possibility to witness a Hunt in the Bush. While doing your game will have a stop to have your Lunch at your Own pace and proceed with the Game drive. Day 5: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK (central/ east)

Day 6: NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA

In the Morning you will have your breakfast and you will start your safari at 8 O’clock Sharp with your packed lunch box to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The Transit time is approximately 3 hours and 30 Minutes Covering a Distance of 165 KM/ 113 Miles. Upon your Arrival at Ngorongoro Conservation Area you will Descend at the Crater and Enjoy a beautiful game Drive offered by this mixed world heritage site. The Maasai Culture and Biodiversity of Ngorongoro conservation Area gives it its supreme Importance among Conservationists and Tourists from all cross the world. While doing your game drive you will have a Stop at Ngoitoktok Spring to have your Lunch at your own pace and proceed with your game drive. Day 7: FLIGHT TO ZANZIBAR (INCLUDED IN THE PRICE)

In the Morning you will have your breakfast and you will start your safari at 8 O’clock Sharp to Arusha Airport. The Transit time will be approximately 3 Hours Covering a Distance for 164 KM/ 102 Miles and it is Usually advised to arrive at the Airport 2 hours before the Departure of the flight. Your flight to Zanzibar will take about 1 hour and 15 Minutes and Upon your Arrival at Zanzibar, you will be picked up from the Airport and get transferred to your Hotel in Zanzibar located along the northern part of Zanzibar (Nungwi). Day 8: RELAX AT THE BEACH/ ACTIVITY

In the Morning you will wake up and have breakfast at your own Convenient time (within the range of time set by the lodge services) and you will have an option to relax or add an Activity. For any Extra activities that you may be interested in performing such as Snorkeling at Mnemba Island, Spice farm and stone Town tour, Nakupenda Sand Bank, Jozani Forest, Dolphin Adventure and Etc. Day 11: LAST DAY OF YOUR SAFARI AND YOUR FLIGHT HOME

This is the last day of your safari whereby you will have a beautiful breakfast in the Morning and relax while waiting for your Transfer. Normal check out time is 10:00am in the Morning whereby you will be transferred at the Airport for your Flight home Via Abeid Amani Karume International Airport. If your flight time to home is far from the normal check out time you might opt to book a Day room from the accommodation where the checking out of the day room will be at 1800 hours.

Safari using deluxe tented camps or Lodges usually located inside the National Park and comparable to a 4-star hotel. Accommodation is usually located inside the Park.

Luxury+ – Accommodation

Safari using extremely luxurious tented camps or Lodge, usually located in a private wildlife – Viewing area and comparable to a 5-star Hotel.
